Cody Meade Kim Shabinski EDU 101 February 26, 2011 Introduction My focus is to promote and produce well-informed, responsible citizens who are capable of becoming successful in their careers and also successful in their lives. Additionally I expect my students to make positive contributions in their respective communities. My contribution to this deserved outcome will be to engage my students in the educational process by using a hands- on approach in the classroom. Also I will share with my students the purpose for teaching my content area. Students need to know why they need science. Finally I will be steadfastly cognizant of the needs of all students. I will remember to observe then review, revise, re-do and offer remediation to those students who require it. Role as a Teacher My role as a teacher is to ensure a safe and effective learning environment that facilitates the education process for me and my students.
