Mitch Morgan BUS 651 Professor Waldeck 15 October 2013 Kroger & P&G Speaker Summary Tim Prince, of Kroger, talked about some key points throughout his career that are worth noting. First of all, Kroger is number 23 on the Fortune 500 company list, at 96.8 billion dollars. They also own 51% of Dunn Humby, something people don’t know about. The main takeaway I got from Tim was that it’s not about finding the right job; it’s about finding the right company. His first job wasn’t something he thought he would be in. But, he loved the Kroger Company and knew that it would lead to something great for him, which is now H.R. He also spoke about the fact that you should be ready for behavioral questions in an interview. Those type of questions relate to a certain instance in your life and begins with: “Tell me about a time…” He said that you shouldn’t necessarily have a set list of answers for every question you may be asked. You should have a few examples in your head in case that certain question is asked.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
