HUM-103 OL009 Concert Review The concert I choose to watch for the concert review was, Tanglewood’s 75th Anniversary Celebration performed on July 14, 2012 at Tanglewood in Lenox Massachusetts. The concert included works from Copeland, Bernstein, Hayden, Tchaikovsky, Sarasate, Ravel and Beethoven. Performances included the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops Orchestra, Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra, Tanglewood Festival Chorus, and/or special guests. I was able to view the entire concert on PBS.org, the video included views of the stage, full orchestra, performers, conductors and the audience. It was a sold out event and the guests were well dressed. The orchestra consisted of about 100 musicians, as well as a conductor. Although the concert included works by numerous composers, I will focus on the three we have reviewed in the course; Hayden, Tchaikovsky, and Beethoven. Hayden’s work performed was Piano Concerto in D, 2nd and 3rd movements. This was performed by the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra, with Emanuel Ax playing the
