Leah Lenzsch, R10445043 9/3/13, ANTH 2306-002 The Gods Must Be Crazy In The Gods Must Be Crazy , the San people are humans who live in the Kalahari Desert in Africa and are portrayed as very skillful. They believed that the gods only gave them good things because they loved them so much. The gods had always provided them with food, animals, water, shelter, etc. They were very skillful in that they used their natural habitat in every aspect of their lives. No one in the tribe has unfulfilled wants or even the slightest bit of what it means to have ownership. The tribe is a happy tribe with no sense of worries and competition amongst others. Throughout the whole film, Xi, one of Bushmen, shows many of the skills that the San people possess. They are great stalkers, fast learners, and very friendly to everyone they meet. Although they have plenty of skills in their tribe, it also limits how much they know about outside the Kalahari
