Mitch, a student at Brandeis University, found a professor that stood out to him: Morrie. Mitch learned new life lessons and advice from him. After graduation Mitch became a busy man working manydifferent jobs, while also getting married to his wife Janine. Mitch forgot many of the lessons that Morrie had taught him. During this time Mitch struggled with relationships and communication within his life. Morrie continued to teach at the University, where his life was full of laughter, dancing, eating, and teaching. He was diagnosed with ALS; this is when Morrie started living. He continued teaching, as he knew it was his last great journey and wanted others to know what to pack. Morrie became famous when Nightline shared his journey. Mitch was watching TV one night and recognized Morrie's voice. Mitch made a trip to visit Morrie, after this he began visiting Morrie every Tuesday, where Morrie taught him lessons on `The meaning of Life”. Lesson by lesson Morrie became weaker and weaker. Mitch didn’t want to miss what Morrie had to say, so he began to bring a recorder. On the last Tuesday they said goodbye, Morrie died that Saturday. Mitch found the true meaning of life and he rekindled his lost relationships. He began living life the way Morrie would have.Tuesdays with Morrie, a book full of life lessons and advice related to interpersonal
