Justin WangBetter Students are Better SleepersIn this journal, the researchers studied the correlation between sleep and academicsuccess in college students. The researchers gathered information on grade-point average, sleepquality, sleep quantity, and sleep deprivation from college students at the University ofMinnesota. They hypothesized that students with higher GPAs also slept better, more, and wererarely deprived of sleep. They gathered this information by administering a survey to around 100undergraduate students. The test first contained true-false questions from the Groninger SleepQuality Questionnaire to determine how well the participants were sleeping. Secondly, the testcontained open questions created by the researchers to determine the participant’s amount ofsleep and number of “all-nighters.” Lastly, the test contained questions assessing the GPA ofstudents.After analyzing the data from the surveys, the researchers discovered that their
