Final Exam Wed., March 19 th , 8:00-10:00 a.m., MDEA Bring two sheet of paper with formulas Extra credits Final project (Qs 8-10) Course evaluation (5%) Extended office hours (EG 4208): Wed., 10:30am-11:30am Thursday, 10am-11am Friday, 12-1pm L18-2 MAE 147 Vibrations Professor Andrei M. Shkel Winter 2008 Before We Get Started Exam Format: One problem will be for sure from Chapter 6-7 Problems will tend to be cumulative, requiring you to put together techniques and ideas from different chapters Make sure you know how to write EOMs ! You can bring ONE sheet of paper with formulas (both sides) or TWO sheets of paper (one side) You can bring a Laplace transform table. Standardized plots (non-dimensional) of the relationship between overshoot, rise time, peak time and the damping ratio and undamped natural frequency for a 2 nd order system will be provided (if required by the problem) Last time Vibration absorbers MAE 147 Vibrations Professor Andrei M.
