Fast Food Nation Response Fast Food Nation is a persuasive movie about the society and its fast food . The movie shows how a meatpacking company named Uniglobe degrades their workers and their meat . “There is shit in the meat,” the company chairman states. The movie provides good evidence towards a fraction of the devastation of Uniglobe’s meat . Mickey’s which is realistically named after McDonalds is the main target in the film, but Does the film provide enough evidence to make a permanent effect on our nation’s fast food companies? I believe that Richard Linklater (The film’s director) could have done a much better job supporting his ideas, which ultimately could have had a greater effect on our nation . Richard Linklater directed his film based on the book Fast Food Nation written by Eric Schlosser . I feel that the movie is not a documentary although the book is written as one . Given that this movie is not a documentary makes the film more appealing to the public and it is more likely to sell more copies because of it
