Based on the content presented in the article, why is it important for a leader to be consistently authentic with his or her stakeholders?A consistently authentic leader will receive the support of the organization but must important to the followers' support. I believe that stakeholders need leaders that incorporate the team of workers and persuade them to involve others. According to Sinha, “There is growing pressure forauthentic leadership from stakeholders, socially conscious consumers, and employees who do work for companies with a greater mission” (2013, para 3). I am a supervisor and, my team respects me, listens to me, and works hard for me because they know that I am there for them when they need me. When one of the team members needs assistance with anything, I work beside them or show them how to do it. According to Weiss, “Leaders are charged with identifying strategies, goals, and the dominant culture (ethics and values) within their teams in order to guide and navigate an organization’s overall direction and performance” (2015).
