Daniel Sun Physics 207, Lab 5 – Linear Momentum Lab Introduction The objective of this lab was to determine the value of acceleration due to gravity on Earth experimentally. The expected result of little g is 9.8 m/s^2, as determined by Newton’s universal law. This experiment is important because it is an essential part of our lives since we always deal with gravity. We used different methods and experiments to calculate the value of gravity.
