02/23/08 The Chemistry and Qualitative Analysis of Cations: Groups III and IV PURPOSE: The purpose of this lab is to develop the chemistry of certain Group III and Group IV cations, then use this chemistry to setup a procedure for qualitatively verifying the presence of selected cations.
