Analyze demographic statistics on HIV-related deaths in the United States. Note: HIV, or the human immunodeficiency virus, is a disease that affects thousands of people in the United States — some groups more than others. HIV is primarily spread through sexual contact. One of the main reasons HIV spreads is that people don't realize they have been infected until after they have infected others. Because of this, people who have regular checkups at the doctor are less likely to spread the virus, since they are more likely to be aware that they have the virus.
