Hoover knew that America was not close to eliminating poverty and he did not lie to the people to make them feel better . Hoover helped Europe after they were torn during the war and were in a famine. Hoover was the type of person that helped everyone and even people from other countries. He did not grow up wealthy so he knew how poor people lived and wanted to give back and help them . ID 3: Automobiles Along with automobiles came credit for larger purchases.
