Each code converter is a big digital electronic circuit difficult to assemble it manually. But, using this VLSI technology many code converter circuits can be built into a single chip which is known as Very Large Scale Integration. As it is not possible to design such a complex digital circuit (consisting of more than 30,000 logic gates) manually to implement the above application, we use VLSI Technology for the solution.
