Edward Farrell Engr100 October 26, 2007 The potential health risk of using a cell phone: After researching the health risks of intensified cell phone signals 1 , the ethical question of whether or not to follow through with this design has arose. Through my research I have found the article called “Worrying about Wireless” by Mark Alpert. In his article he talks about the risks of cell phone use and how they are minimal if none. However, with the plans to boost the cell power, the health risks are also boosted. At the current stage in my pretend life, I have a sick child and an amazing job with plenty of benefits. Now I also have a major decision to make, should I take the assignment and possibly injure thousands, or quit my job and put my child’s life in jeopardy. If I decide to take the assignment I will take it with the hope that I will be allowed to make changes. This actually is the only reason I would take it. I would try to convince my boss with plenty of convincing evidence that we should change the design and also
