Title: Can you rely on Home Pregnancy Tests? II. Abstract In this project, we aimed at studying the trend in the usage of over­the­counter pregnancy exams. III. Introduction/Background Generally, companies are sure to add some statistics in order to prove how much reliable their products are to customers.Our topic is concerning about how strongly women can rely on using home pregnancy tests in order to find out whether or not they have conceived and if the products they used can be trusted. In order to do this, we knew that we had to simply start our research by looking up different types of brands and testing out their claims. For example, there are First Response Early Result, Accu­Clear Early Pregnancy Test, E.P.T. Pregnancy Test, Fact Plus One­Step Pregnancy Test, and other drugstore pregnancy tests. Specifically, we focused on Clearblue Easy for this report. Most of these products claim that their tests are 99% accurate at detecting the typical pregnancy hormone levels and Clearblue Easy is one of these home pregnancy tests that ensure detecting pregnancy from the day of the expected period can be over 99% accurate if the customers used it correctly. Our hypothesis for this report is that over­the­counter pregnancy tests are not reliable and accurate as the companies claim them to be. We believe that by doing our own research and checking
