Lyx is an advanced document processor (like Microsoft Word or WordPerfect) It can be used to write scientific documents containing a lot of mathematical formulas and/or expressions. Lyx is a Latex editor, producing high quality and professional output. Lyx operates on the premise of WYSIWYG, What You See Is What You Get http://www.lyx.org/WhatIsLyX Lyx does talks to R and therefore can integrate text and R code as in R Markdown Unlike R Markdown (a markdown language), Lyx is a mark-up language, thus more sophisticated, capable of producing sophisticated documents. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
