The fictional case (with a fairly typical accident scenario) isbased in Connecticut and we will follow Connecticut procedural rules. Since PostUniversity is located in Connecticut and many students are from different states, I haveselected Connecticut to be "the State" for purposes of these assignments. Restassured, the skills you learn in this class will be transferable to your own state if you arenot from Connecticut. You will be drafting a Complaint in Negligence for Personal Injuries based on thefollowing scenario. The names of the parties, attorneys, and law firms are all fictionalalthough the fact pattern of the accident is pretty common! To help you draft yourcomplaint, you can refer to Connecticut Practice Book Sections 10-1, 10-2, and 10-8, asample complaint in Negligence on page 137 of our textbook, and detailed directionsset forth below.A ‘perfect’ Complaint is not expected. This is not law school. Please try your best toanalyze the given fact pattern, include the relevant information, and pay particularattention to sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation.Scenario:On December 16, 2017 at 4:30 pm, Distracted Daisy was driving her new car whiletexting her best friend to meet her at the mall.
