We then connected the power supply to points P 4 and P 5 , and the electrometer to points P 3 and P 4 . We then disconnected the power supply, and connected the switch S 1 to P 2 , simultaneously starting the timer. We obtained the value of V R at a number of different time intervals. VI - 2 From the 2nd graph, I was able to calculate the following. Slope = -0.01 (from graph) = 200 sec From this data, I plotted a graph V R vs. Time I also plotted a graph ln|V R | vs. time.
