Proxemics - personal space communicates. Closer people feel towards each other, the closer they can communicate. - Women are closer. (Public) - Men tend to spread out. (Private) Women tend to have a smaller “personal bubble” than men. Women tend to get out of the way more often then men. Pitch or inflection, volume, rate, annunciation all differ between women and men. These attribute to the verbal message one is trying to commute.

For men, a lower pitch at a higher volume, less inflection, is perceived as more masculine and adds to his credibility. For women, a higher pitch with lower volume is perceived as submissive and innocent. Jewelry is more associated with women (except for watches). Women tend to show their bodies more than men....
