Tanish Singh Deliberative Dialogue Reflection Paper COMM 101-240 In this paper I will reflect on the deliberative dialogue speech I did with my group on campus safety at George Mason University. I will start off by using the Tuckman Model for Group Communication to explain how my group went through the stages of it. For Stage #1, The Forming Stage , my group and I got together in class and exchanged contact information as well as created a google document. We learned each other’s names since we weren’t familiar with each other. The people in my group were Ashley, Ian, Nick, and myself. For Stage #2, The Storming Stage , I pitched out to the group that we should do our topic on campus safety. Everyone else agreed and we started googling ideas. Nick and I started by looking up what GMU has for safety right now, while Ashley and Ian looked up other safety methods that could be implemented. For Stage #3, The Norming Stage , each of us had decided what part of the project we were going to work on. We then quickly moved on to Stage #4, The Performing Stage . This stage was a little troublesome as we had left this stage for the night before the speech. All of us had not worked on the speech prior to that night. We all worked hard that night and completed our parts. It took us all a while, but we finished late at night. The last stage or Stage #5 was
