Alissa Chanin September 19, 2007 ANTH 166 Spatial Locations In a mere four weeks, a campus structured with over twenty buildings, two gymnasiums, tracks, dining halls, stadiums and the like has become my home. I was raised in a Victorian house fitted with a spacious backyard and scattered trees for climbing and resting under. The railing on the staircase had the ideal parameters for sliding down and my kitchen had an island for sitting on and swinging my legs. My bedroom was the perfect size for sleeping, reading and cartwheels. After eighteen years of familiarity I have been brought to someplace new and have been asked to adjust accordingly. Room 220 in Endicott Hall is my new plot. It is square but endearing and succeeds as a place to rest. I have been given a roommate, while never before have I shared such a space with another, the adjusting has been smooth. We have agreed on both location and orientation of furniture, of closet selection and poster decorations. The stairwell is the door adjacent to ours which makes for a speedy escape for my 8:30
