What role does imagination play in producing knowledge about the world.docx

This preview shows page 1 out of 1 page.

This object is a textbook for studying physics in an IBDP science class. The book's primary objective is to inform students about scientific laws, theories, and physics concepts. I used a similar physics book in MYP to study Newton's Laws. Newton's Laws, one of the many contents in this object, were developed only through his imagination. His lack of knowledge of how the world works at the time makes his findings and interpretations so much more important to the production of knowledge. Isaac Newton would perform a series of experiments designed to test his imagination's power based on natural philosophers' concepts and ideas.
