1AbstractThe Great Commission to Worship is a relational aspect for all people to have withChrist. Wheeler wrote, “I explained, therefore, that a person must be “evangelized” before theycan become a biblical “worshipper. Thus, evangelism and worship have a unique relationship. Ialso pointed out that many times in Scripture it appears that while God is always our object ofworship, the concept of obtaining salvation (evangelism) appears to be the motivation.”1It isimperative for the two, evangelism and worship to have a relational aspect. This relational aspectflows into the individual being obedient to God’s word, through the Great Commission. Matthew28:19-20 writes, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of theFather, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever Ihave commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”2This commission endows us to provide information through worship, which is the platform, to allfor transformation of an individual to have a relational aspect with God and his people. All we dofor God must be biblically and spiritually based and sound in order for true evangelism andworship to take place. This changes not only the individual, but everyone who connects or isattached to the individual. Through these connections with God and others, mission is developed.“God’s design for the mission of His people “is to be his instrument through which he createsone, called out, holy people for his glory and worship from all peoples of the world.” 9 I believeone of the greatest ways to express true worship as the church is to passionately live every day asmissional believers.”31 David Wheeler, and Vernon M. 2Concrete ResponseOne day I was shopping and a salesperson, a young woman, asked if she could help me.As I looked up to respond no ma’am, immediately, an image crept in my mind from several yearsback. This woman, who I knew, was standing within a few feet from me. This was the closest wehad ever been to one another since the unveiling of the actions between her and my husband.
