Unformatted text preview: Clare Gersh INDV 102 SEC 43 3/13/08 Extra Credit Health Care is Overdue When it comes to Health Care in the United States, it should be provided for every working individual, let alone a working parent. That case is not true, because millions of Americans now suffer without health insurance because it is too expensive and their employers do not provide it. Companies no longer pay for as much of it as they used to and some no longer provide it. Without health insurance, America is going to keep suffering. I believe in providing health insurance for every working individual, but if not every at least try to cut down the 47 million people without it (Obama page 1). Barack Obama made a speech in Houston, Texas after he won the Wisconsin primaries. He discussed many policies and problems throughout his speech, but the one that really matters is health insurance.
