what is psychology? the scientific study of behavior and mental process. the 4 goals of psychology: description: what’s wrong? explanantion: why is it happening? prediction: will it happen again? control: how can it be changed? experiment is used to discover the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. CNS central nervous system – represents the largest part of the nervous sysytem, including the brain and the spinal cord . it is contained within the dorsal cativity of the brain.
