ANSC 120/SAAS 20 Laboratory Report # 1 August 28, 2007 Lab Section_3:00 – 5:00 __ Name____Russ Caudill ___ This lab report is due at the beginning of the NEXT laboratory period. Each question is worth 2 points. Write clearly and neatly, If I can't read it I can't grade it. After this, all lab questions will be posted on Vista (Husky CT) and it will be your responsibility to print them and bring to the next lab session. 1. Compare and contrast the form and function of external features of the four animal species viewed in lab. (For example, type of head structure, mouth, legs, feet, size, movement, etc.) Add extra sheets as necessary. The sheep, cows and chickens in our lab had their eyes on the side of their faces, signifying that they are animals of prey. Whereas the hog had her eyes positioned in between the side and front of her face, telling us that she was both predator and prey. Forms of movement were also very different in some of these animals, such as when the cows and hog moved they were very ungraceful and rough in their movement.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
