PE 101 Final Exam Study Sheet This study sheet will prepare you very well for the final exam. I’m suggesting that you read through these questions, review all your class lectures posted on Blackboard and then complete the answers to determine where your weaknesses are. 1. What fitness components did we assess for your physical fitness testing? Be able to describe what each component assesses. 1)Abdominal muscular endurance: number of sit-ups completed in one minute, 2) Bech Press/Push-ups: number of completed push-ups in one minute, 3) Hand grip: arm strength, 4) Shoulder Flexibility: range of flexibility in the shoulder, 5) Sit & Reach: pelvic flexibility, 6) Resting Heart Rate: how many times your heart beats when resting, 7) Body Fat %: percent of fat as compared to other mass in your body, 8) BMI: body mass calculated from height and weight, 9) Weight: how much you weigh 2. What heart rate do you need to maintain during exercise in order to achieve a cardiorespiratory training effect? Between 50 and 85% of your max heart rate 3. In order to achieve overall muscular fitness how do you train your muscles for that?
