Informative Speech Outline I. Introduction Start with a personal story. Talk about the symptoms I experience with stress and anxiety. When I am stressed, I feel very fatigued, depressed, and hopeless. When I am anxious, my heart beats incredibly fast, I get aches all over my body, I feel nauseous, and my chest feels tight. Although at times I feel alone, I realize that many people suffer from stress and anxiety as well, especially college students. II. Stress and Anxiety/How both affect College Students Stress is a mental state in which people are unable to adapt to a situation easily. Anxiety is when an individual experiences feelings of nervousness and worry about certain events and outcomes that they are unsure of. I am constantly dealing with stress and anxiety, and both of them affect me. When I am stressed, I just want the problem to go away without working on it, hence, at times, I procrastinate greatly.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
