FAMILY INTERVIEW - COMPARE AND CONTRAST CULTURES2INTRODUCTIONCultural differences are the various beliefs, behaviors, languages, practices, and expressions considered unique to members of a specific ethnicity, race, or national origin. While these differences can create a more vibrant office, they can also lead to more than a few problems resulting from culture clash. My reason for interviewing my neighbor and my mom is based on 2facts, one being that they are easily accessible and easy to talk to and the primary reason is that I recently bought a house in a white community and none of the neighbors care to say hi except forthis mature white lady and her family. I wanted to know the difference between a white family and a black family values and norms and this interview revealed that there isn’t any significant difference in the family cultures and the way both parties live. Both families as inbred values and both have regrets for the tradition they have known all their lives.The InterviewMy neighbor is from North Carolina and she is from a tradition of stay at home moms, her husband is the head of the household the main provider and he makes all the decisions in the family. She claims that the tradition of her family is to push the males into being the best provider they can be while neglecting the educational needs of the females in the family. She
