Opposite colours- ganglion cells, receive excitatory input from L cone, but inhibited by M cones. Etc. Simultaneous Contrast: an optical illusion in which identical stimuli appear different when presented against different backgrounds. Humans and Animals Have other Sensory System: Internal sensory system- the kinesthetic sense. Vestibular sense. Sona sense & electroreception, senses based on electrical fields. i.e. bats and dolphins. The evidence for extrasensory perception (ESP) is weak and Nonesistent: Sixth sense?
