Fortunately for myself, I joined the U.S Navy; which was interesting tosay the least. As I stepped off a bus to Great Lakes, Illinois into a raging blizzard of snow;that immediately began propelling ice at my face without any sort of protection, I beganquestioning my decisions up to this point with plenty of uncertainty. From those firststeps off the bus; to observing a fellow peer urinate themselves in the moment of averbal punishment by our instructors; I knew my experience’s from that day forwardwere going to be extreme. Though I do not regret joining the Navy; I made the best outof my situation, and the experience has made me the man I am today.I was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, and raised in Georgia by my father from theage of four; along with my younger brother who is a year younger than me.
