Dan Perham Chapter 1- 3) I feel that Wittgenstein wrong when he says that “the limits of my language are the limits of my life”. I specifically feel that way because I can think of numerous times throughout my life when I felt a certain way towards someone or something and words could not describe how I felt. I believe that not knowing the correct words is not a limit to one’s life because I still felt the way I did even though I could not describe it in words. Chapter 1-13) I think that what James Burke meant by saying “print allows you to hold another mind in your hands” is that written words allow you to see and feel what the writer was feeling as he wrote what you are reading. It allows people to understand how a writer feels when he wrote a persuasive document on any topic or even in books by character development.
