Unformatted text preview: If you prefer to write a paper, it can take the form of any of the short assignments you have already practiced: 1) a manga or anime review (on a work of your choice); 2) a paper (with an argument on a topic of your choosing dealing with one or more of the fiction texts we have examined over the term); or 3) an anime analysis (focusing on the visual or media aspects of an anime film or TV episode of your choice). If you prefer you may propose a project rather than an analytical paper. Examples of possible projects include creating an original (short) manga, computer animation, or some other creative format. Creative pieces should, however, demonstrate an engagement with the ideas and issues we have addressed in the class.
