Reaction Paper September 26, 2012 ECON 110-01 “Stop Beating Up the Rich” Reaction Paper After entering college and being enrolled in classes such as Economics, Micro-economics and business related courses I have realized how important it is as a citizen of the United States. Many people are not educated on the subjects these courses teach, granted the classes go more in depth, and that lack of understanding allows for misjudgment and issues in the future, for example with taxes and buying, selling, things all of us must come across at some point. In the past I have always shied away from topics such as politics, economics and the like for fear of boredom or feeling overwhelmed. As of lately, my eyes have opened and I appreciate all that I have learned thus far, finding the ideas and systems economists have in place beneficial to understand and helpful. Yet there are still those in the place of where I once was, some of who contribute to the creation of the Fortune
