The form is in iambic pentameter while it talks about the very sad story of the unfortunate girl. “The Visions” is an excellent poem overall, but it is still extremely sad and surprising. Biography Francesco Petrarch was born on July 20th, 1304 in a little town called Arezzo, but he grew up learning in Ancisa. He lived through very hard times around his town but he always made the best of it and sent a letter to the King and Queen. His writing is so powerful and amazing, that people are amazed and stunned with his writing. He lived the rest of his life in Italy, so that he could keep on close contact with the pope and cardinals....
