I believe that Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) is real. DID, formerly known as multiple personality disorder , is a form of dissociative disorder in which two or more separate identities or personalities coexist within an individual. There is a primary, or host personality , appearing more often than others, yet each personality, called alters , has its own integrated set of memories and behaviours. The video followed Tony. Tony is diagnosed with DID and has at least 53 different personalities; including Richard, a dead relative, Tony the imposter, Anthony, a 5 year old boy, and Deedee, very different from all other personalities but who Tony claims to have a memory trace of every personality. Tony is the host personality, who is married. Some of Tony’s personalities do not know that Tony is married, nor even recognize his wife. As well, Tony is not always able to remember being at an event, depending on which personality he is when he is there. If the other personality does not
