Study Sheet for Quiz #1 In class we will randomly select 5 of the terms below. For those selected, you must provide a few sentences that demonstrate your familiarity with each term. Your identification of each term MUST include the “W’s”—WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY—to the best of your ability. If a specific date and/or place name can be provided, I will expect a complete answer to have these details. I will give only partial credit if I feel more key details can be provided, and no credit if you totally miss the mark. No additional research is required, but it isn’t prohibited. I only expect you to know what can be gleaned from class readings, lectures, and films. The second component is an essay. On the day of the quiz I will choose one of the essays below for you to answer in class. Because you will have had the question ahead of time, your essays should be well thought through and well structured. A competent essay will have a coherent argument; specific details; correct names of people, places, and things; correct dates; and general cohesiveness.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
