has branched out in other ways as well. In 2007 she collaborated with Target to create
an affordable collection known as Temperley London for Target Go International (Alice
Temperley). The overall success of Target’s Go International campaign prompted them
to re-release certain designs this spring, so several of Temperley’s dresses are
currently available on Target’s website.
The Target line was well received, and perhaps that played a role in Temperley’s
decision to launch a more affordable sister line to Temperley London. The label, Alice
by Temperley, debuted in Spring 2010. The designs are decidedly more youthful,
though similarities are evident in the interesting prints and embellishments. A dress
from Alice by Temperley might set you back several hundred dollars as opposed to the
thousands you’d pay for a Temperley London design. The line has reportedly caught
the eye of trendsetters Beyoncé and Rihanna, among others (About Alice).
