Unformatted text preview: 111; Monday / Wednesda y / Friday 2:00 – 3:50 PM a Attendance Policy: Lecture and laboratory attendance is mandatory for all students. Attendance will be taken at the start of each lecture or laboratory session. Students may miss three sessions (either lecture or laboratory) without penalty during the semester. Each additional absence (either lecture or laboratory) will result in a five point deduction from the final grade. If a student has a legitimate, documentable reason for missing a session, the professor must be notified within 24 hours if not prior to the missed session. Lecture and Laboratory Behavior: Professional behavior is expected of all students. Be on time . If you cannot be on time please enter the classroom through the rear door and take a seat at the back of th e class. Talking during lectures is unacceptable behavior. Cell phone or computer (including tablet) use, includ ing web browsing, texting, and receiving calls during lectures and laboratories is unacceptable behavior.
