CONTRACTS EXAMINATION B USINESS L AW – S PRING S EMESTER , 2008 Instructions : Read the following exam questions carefully and answer both. Each of the scenarios below presents a dispute concerning an agreement. One side of dispute will want to argue that the agreement is binding and the other side will want to argue that no binding agreement exists. Analyze the arguments from both sides. Write your exam response carefully. Be sure that your arguments are well reasoned and concise. Each idea should follow in logical order, one sentence after another. Remember that each sentence should contain only one idea. Avoid run-on sentences. Remember that each paragraph should begin with an introductory sentence, followed by the body of the argument and finishing with a concluding sentence. Edit your work so that it is free of all grammatical and spelling errors. The writing should be your best work. The scenarios contain all of the information for each problem. Do not read between the lines, make up facts or draw inferences from the story that is given. Don’t anticipate that I know anything about contract law, other than the normal understandings a common person might have.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
