DEFINITION OF METHOD(S)? Method : It is “a way of doing something,” or “an order,” or “an efficient habit.” Methodology : It is “a set of methods used in a particular area of activity.” The Arabic term for method is جهنمم Manhaj or جامهنمم - Minhaj (pl. جهانمم - Manahij ): “Open, plain and easy road,” or “programme.” The word Minhaj occurs in the Qur’an: ( : ةدئامل ااا 48 ( ْ مممم ُ كن ِ مم اممم َ ن ْ ل َ مع َ ج ممم ّ ل ُ مك ِ ممل ً اجا َ مه ْ ن ِ مم َ مو ً ة َ ع ْ ر ِ ممش “To each among you We have prescribed a law and a clear way.” (al-Maidah: 48).
