Text: For’ the’ purposes’ of’ this’ course’ you’ can’ use’ any’ General’ Chemistry’ textbook .’ We’ will’ not’ be’ working’through’the’textbook’in’a’chapter -by-chapter’fashion;’rather’we’will’co ver’a’selection’of’units’ and’ use’ the’ textbook’ as’ a’ reference.’ I’ will’ provide’ detailed’ information’ that’ links’ our’ units’ to’ the’ recommended’textbook,’but’you’can’use’any’textbook’for’this’purpose.’ Recommended’Text’(available’in’ the’Hunter’College’Bookstore): Chemistry ,’8 th ’ Ed.,’Zumdahl’and’Zum dahl’(custom’paperback’edition).’ This’is’the’same’textbook’that’was’recommended’for’Chem102.
