Global Warming 2 Running head: GLOBAL WARMING Global Warming: The Issue of Debate Political officials and scientists have had a debate over global warming for years but we need to come together on this so we can reverse the effects of global warming that causes devastating, severe weather occurrences; freak weather patterns and the confusion of natural processes. I am in tune to the biology and ecology in my area. It worries me when I see geese flying north, trees budding and a rash of tornadoes through the mid-section of Missouri, in January. We had a hard freeze in late last spring and it decimated our apple crop and it killed acorns before they matured, which is a main food source for deer in the winter and they are going hungry. Every living thing is affected by extreme weather changes (Science Daily Feb. 1, 2006).
