Unformatted text preview: I think that's why Old Navy does Plus Size specifically online. It reduces inventory in store and creates less waste. It can be harder to be predict what a person might be, but online, they've already told you they wanted. It works really well, items are rarely out of stock, and if they are the wait is very small. Plus size customers often don't feel comfortable shopping at malls. Shopping from the comfort of your own home adds even more appeal to avoid any embarrassment of asking the sales person for larger sizes. I’m 24, female, and I do like indulge in new clothes. Being plus size I can select from their plus size categories online. This puts me in a young female most likely to shop online category. Older people are probably less likely to shop in stores, and even less likely to shop online. So their marke4ng will be directed to someone that fits with my demographics.
