MTJ : Major differences are : The profile structure is different. MTJ utilizes two ferromagnetic materials
and one oxide. MTJ detects tunneling current through the oxide layer sandwiched between two
ferromagnetic materials. The ferromagnetic layers can be aligned parallel or antiparallel to allow
tunneling of electrons through oxide layer where one ferromagnetic is free layer (ex: NiFe) and another
is fixed /pinned.
