They have three main characteristics: o They are composed of people who work together to achieve relevant outcome o They have a distinct purpose or goal o They have a systematic arrangement of people and jobs. Without organizations, we would live in a society of markets where we would have to bid on everything organizations usually sell to us. It would be a lot more difficult to buy groceries, water, or cars because each time we do, we have to bid on the items since no organization or companies exist. Organizations make our economy and society function easier. Outsourcing of jobs has changed in recent years. It used to be primarily in manufacturing companies like Nike, Gap, and Eddie Bauer who make clothes. In more current times,
