Although the people around the earth may be changing, I think that there are some things in nature that stay pretty constant. A rock doesn"t constantly change. If you took a picture of a rock every day for five years, chances are you wouldn"t see any differences. 3)! I do not really agree with Parmenides" belief that there is an underlying principle of permanence that underlies all. I think that we all come from different backgrounds, so I don"t think there is a permanence that underlies all because we all have such different life experiences and believe such different things.
