Instructions and Rules
•
Exam rooms will be accessible 15 min prior to
the start of the exam,
i.e.
, 7:15pm
•
You are required to scan your
UT photo ID
upon
entering the exam room.
•
Sit every other seat in the exam room.
•
One
scantron
will be given upon entrance.
Carefully bubble in your name, UTEID, unique
number, TA name, and Test Form.
•
Exams will be distributed ~7:25pm.
READ the
first page
of instructions, do NOT look at the
exam until instructed to do so.

Bring only yourself , your UT photo ID, and some pencils!
•
YOU must provide their own pencils ( #2 pencil or HB lead)
it is recommend you bring an extra or two!
•
Hats, caps, and earphones may NOT be worn during the exam.
Exceptions
(religious observance,
hearing aid, simple foam earplugs, etc) must be
documented and approved in advance.
•
No calculators are needed.
Outside papers are prohibited.
Additional blank
paper may be requested for scratch work.
•
All coats, bags, backpacks, purses,, etc MUST be placed at the front or on
the periphery of the room
–
NO EXCEPTIONS.
•
All electronic devices (including cell phones) are prohibited.
If you chose to
bring a cell phone, it must be turned OFF and stowed away with other
belongings at the front or on the periphery of the room during the exam.
You get caught with one on your person, you will receive a zero for the exam
and other disciplinary actions maybe taken.
•
Food is prohibited.
Only beverages are permitted in the exam room.
For the consideration of others, please do not bring beverages that may
cause a disturbance.
NOTE: we are not responsible for personal belongings.

:
During the entire exam,
keep your eyes on your own work.
Shield your work so as not
to provide temptation to others.
Do NOT give or receive
assistance of any kind during the exam. Any cheating, attempt
to cheat, assisting others to cheat, or engaging in improper
conduct is a serious violation and will result in a zero score
with other disciplinary action as deemed appropriate.
