Say No to Fast Food Presented by: Brittany Klontz AG: Are you the type of person who loves fast food and tends to eat it at least once a week, or sometimes even more? You are not alone. In fact, according to CBS News, this year Americans will spend over $110 billion on fast food. This is more than what is spent on movies, books, magazines, videos, newspapers, and recorded music combined. Position Statement: Fast food may be convenient and very tasty, but it can majorly affect your health and there are many alternatives to this unhealthy diet. Preview: Today I am going to discuss the problem here in the United States with the growing fast food consumption and what we can do to help solve this problem. I. Problem: Fast food is becoming increasingly popular, especially in the United States. A. Many fast food chains are convenient and priced right when you are running errands at the mall. These two factors draw in consumers.
